Kottayam: A girl student was killed and her younger sister injured in a road accident at 34th mile near Mundakkayam, police said today. Merin (11) and her sister Amala (7), daughter of Manoj vaduthala were on way to school when a car hit them while
overtaking a lorry yesterday.
Merin, seventh standard student of St. Antony's High School, who was injured seriously died on way to medical
college hospital here. Amala, fourth standard student of St.Louis school, escaped miraculously.
