Monday, July 18, 2011: The State Government on Monday effected a major reshuffle again in state police administration. The government issued a directive by transferring 130 Dy SPs.

In a major reshuffle earlier one DIG and nine SPs were earlier shifted from posts. Vijay Sreekumar had been appointed as Battalion DIG. Three District Collectors were also been shifted. PG Thomas has been appointed as Kollam District Collector. Sanal Kumar and Saurav Jain have been appointed as District Collectors of Thrissur and Alappuzha respectively.
Dinesh Arora has been appointed as Planning and Economic Affairs Additional Secretary.
