Tuesday, August 16, 2011: The Cabinet held today has approved the Chengara package. Speaking to the mediapersons after the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that 25 cents of land will be given to 1000 more people as part of the Chengara package. Steps will be taken to reduce the rate of life saving drugs, CM added.
Chandy said that the government will recommend the extension of the validity of the PSC rank list till March 31st.
