P J Thomas calls on Chandy


NEW DELHI: Former Chief Vigilance Commissioner P J Thomas today called on Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at the Kerala House. Talking to reporters here, Thomas said the visit was a personal one and refused to react on the court verdict in the palmolein case.

The vigilance court in the capital city had directed to investigate the role of Chandy in the case. When the palmolein deal took place, Chandy was the finance minister and Thomas, the civil supplies secretary.
