Police conduct raid on CNI offices


ALUVA: The police, in their effort to curb the money chain business in the state, raided the headquarters of Creative Network International(CNI) at Aluva and seized several documents and computer s on Tuesday.
 The raid was initiated by the police personnel led by CIs Johnson (Irinjalakuda) and Gangadharan (Kodakara) and Mala SI Ashraf. They sealed the office and godown of the CNI at Aluva.   According to the police, the raids were held simultaneously in the branches of the CNI in different towns and nabbed several persons, who were involved in the money chain business.
 A person named Sajith is the kingpin of the CNI business in the state. The national head quarters of the CNI is based at Bangalore and is controlled internationally from Malaysia.
The CNI is dealing with cosmetic and nutritious products. “Initially the membership fee was `3500 and now it is reduced to `99,” the police said. On paying `99, a person would get the ID card of the company.  
A card holder will be provided with retail profit, rebate commission, leader commission, executive commission, overseas travel facility and car fund. Police doubted that thousands of persons were involved in the network business and many persons were cheated.
