Monday, August 22, 2011: A 45-year-old woman was killed this morning after she was run over by a KSRTC bus near Madhavapuram here on Monday. The dead has been identified as Kunjamma hailing from Ernakulam, police told. Kunjamma was knocked down by a bus coming from the East Fort route.
She died on the accident spot itself, her body has been kept at the Medical college hospital morgue here. City police have registered a case in connection with this incident.
