The offenders barged into Noushad’s house and began damaging all household articles including television, fridge. One person identified as Abdul Noushad was hacked during the incident and has been admitted in the taluk hospital. Small children and women were also assaulted by the gang.
The assailants set a bike on fire and smashed the glasses of a car parked inside the compound. The police team led by Neyyattinakara Dy SP, Gopakumaran Nair reached the spot and collected evidence. Five persons have been taken into custody in connection with this incident.
