Tuesday, December 20, 2011: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Tuesday distributed Rs 5 lakhs each as solatium to the families of nurses Ramya and Vineetha who lost their lives in the AMRI hospital fire in Kolkata.Sandhya, another nurse from Kerala who was injured was provided Rs 1 lakh. The Chief Minister said both Ramya and Vineetha who saved several patients from the fire will be recommended for president’s bravery medal. The government will also provide jobs to one of the family members of the deceased.
