Why no action against Arunkumar? asks HC


Thursday, December 15, 2011: The Kerala High Court on Thursday sought an explanation from the government as to the reasons that led them to be inactive regarding the complaint submitted by Santhosh Madhavan against VA Arun Kumar.
The High court has sought an explanation from the Advocate General that has to be submitted before the court on 22nd of this month.
Santhosh Madhavan has accused VA Arun Kumar of taking a bribe worth 70 lakhs for leveling land near Vaikom. 75 witnesses were questioned and 8 records were scrutinized.
The court has asked the government why there haven’t taken any action though such large amounts of evidences were place before them. The case is being considered by a division bench comprising of Justice Manjula Shekar and PR Ramachandran.
