Kodi Suni’s life under threat: K Sudhakaran

KOZHIKODE: Congress Leader and MP K Sudhakaran has said that there could be threat to the life of Sunil Kumar alias Kodi Suni, the prime accused in the murder of RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan, as the CPM has the habit of eliminating key accused to scuttle murder probe cases.
Talking to reporters at a press conference here on Saturday, Sudhakaran said, “the life of Kodi Suni can be in danger. CPM would not hesitate to eliminate key accused to save its leaders from the murder case. In the Fasal murder case, three young men who provided crucial evidence to the police were killed by the CPM. So, the investigating officers should remain extremely vigil in this case.”
Alleging that the CPM is threatening the officers of the SIT, Sudhakaran said that the CPM leaders were panicked as they realised that the probe was heading towards their top leadership.
He added that CPM Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan would definitely be a part of the conspiracy and CPM state sec Pinarayi Vijayan would be aware of that. “Kodi Suni, a notorious criminal, is a CITU leader in Chokli. If he commits a crime, Jayarajan would definitely be aware of it,” Sudhakaran said.
He added that the tour of CPM leader T P Ramakrishnan and V V Dakshinamoorthy clearly showed the difference of opinion within the party leadership over the issue.
