Pressure to arrest CPM leaders in TP case, says Pinarayi

Friday, May 18, 2012: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday alleged that the investigating team is under continuous pressure to arrest the CPM leaders in the TP Chandrasekharan murder case.
Talking to reporters here, he said officials defying them will be removed from the team. The party had stated earlier that they don’t have any role in the murder case. The party had condemned the incident and expressed grief on it, but the government is getting pleasure by haunting us, Pinarayi said.
He said the party will examine the role of CPM activists arrested in the murder case. They cannot be found guilty as they have been taken into custody. The party does not have any connection with Kodi Suni.
In reply to a question, he said the statements of Rema, wife of Chandrasekharan, should be seen as the emotions of a wife who lost her husband.
