Athirappilly project: VM Sudheeran writes to CM

Sunday, July 8, 2012: Senior Congress leader VM Sudheeran once again sent a letter to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy asking the government not to go forward with the Athirappilly project.


He blamed the government for concealing the facts in connection with the project. He said the project cannot be implemented without taking the people into confidence. In the letter sent, he had asked the government to withdraw from projects harming environment.
