Backstabbing is not party’s way, says Panniyan Raveendran

KOTTAYAM: Backstabbing is not the way of CPI, said party state secretary Panniyan Raveendran. The party is brave enough to say whatever they feel like without looking at anybody’s face. I don’t know why Pinarayi said that the CPI backstabbed them from behind, he said.

Criticisms are inevitable in politics and the party welcomes it. He said this in response to Pinarayi Vijayan’s statement that the CPI backstabbed them from behind when they criticised the CPM for supporting Pranab Mukherjee, the presidential nominee.

Meantime, he said the CPI will oppose controversial speeches whether it is that of Mani, K Sudhakaran and P K Basheer MLA.
