Child killed in accident
KANNUR: A two-year-old child was killed when he fell off a scooter in a road accident near Thavakkara here. The victim has been identified as Rathupan, son of Girish Makreri of Thavakkara. The police said an autorickshaw hit the scooter on which the child and his grandparents were travelling. The child died while being taken to hospital.
