Delegation from Mozambique visits Technopark

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A high level delegation from Republic of Mozambique visited Technopark here with the objective of replicating the Technopark Model of Incubation in Mozambique and to explore possible ways of association with Technopark. They are planning to establish a Technology Business Incubator in Mozambique to spot and nurture Technology developments in their country with the support of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research Government of India, DR R R Abhyankar, Advisor, Govt of India to Mozambique lead the team to Kerala.


'We came to visit Technopark with great hopes to learn from the leader in incubation. The visit enabled us to get more insight in to how to develop an efficient and successful Technology Business Incubator,' Ms Roda Nuvunga Luis said. Girish Babu, CEO Technopark said, 'We at Technopark constantly strive to improvise on our incubation model enabling us to nurture new innovations and help them become successful. It is also a matter of pride for us that other countries are seeking our support on setting up incubation centers which is a testimony to the fact that Technopark incubation is looked upon world across.' 'We are offering all possible help from our end to develop a Technology Business Incubator in Mozambique. India has always been helping them in Economic Development and Development of Science & Technology, he said.


Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Mullappally Ramachandran had visited Mozambique and entered in to a security agreement with Mozambique and also offered financial support for the development of ICT in Mozambique, he said.
