Girl killed in accident

 
KOCHI: Eleven-year-old Krishnendu died after her head hit a roadside post while she was travelling in a minivan taking her to school. She was the only child of Malayil Manoj and Sreeja, councillor from the Traco Company ward at Irimpanam in Tripunithura municipal council. The minivan taking students to the Georgian Academy, Thiruvamkulam, was trying to give way to another vehicle that had come from the opposite side on the narrow Thrikkathera temple road, when the accident occurred. Krishnendu was a Class IV student. The girl died because of serious head injury.
