KOZHIKODE: The BSNL Principal Manager on Thursday received a notice from Vadakara Rural SP demanding an explanation regarding the tapping of phone calls of DySP Josi Cherian, who is in charge of the probe into the murder of RMP leader T.P. Chandrasekharan.
Deshabhimani daily, owned by the CPI (M) Kerala State Committee, had reported the phone tapping incident. The DySP complained against this to his superior officers.
An investigation into the phone tapping has begun under the headship of Kozhikode Rural SP as per the direction of Intelligence SP T.P. Senkumar.
