SIT likely to end probe in TP murder case

KOZHIKODE: Reports indicate the special investigating team is likely to end the investigation in the RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan murder case. They have decided to prepare the charge sheet as no new evidence has been obtained in the case.

Most probably the charge sheet will be submitted in August after inducting the seven as main accused in the murder case. Meanwhile, Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan termed it as incorrect.

The team decided to end the case as they did not obtain more details from the arrested CPM Kozhikode district secretariat member P Mohanan even after questioning him.

TP Chandrasekharan was murdered on May 4, 2012.
