SSLC Adalats on July 21

KANNUR: Education Minister Abdu Rabb would inaugurate the Kannur District SSLC Adalat at Kannur Municipal Higher Secondary school on July 21, said P Rossa, Chairman of District Panchayat Education Standing Committee. The Department of Education is organizing adalats to facilitate correction of wrong entries in the SSLC certificate.


The errors would be cleared within one month and sent to the respective schools of the students. Talking to newsmen here, Rosa said the adalats would be conducted between 1000 and 1600 hrs and those who wanted to rectify the mistakes in the SSLC certificate, including corrections in date of birth, names of the student or parents, marks, place of birth, caste, religion, gender, address, and identification marks would be accepted at the respective schools, up to July 19.


The applications with proper documents would be accepted at the adalats venue also. All the applications would be accepted through the school headmasters or principals only. She said the applications forms would be available from the schools and also the website www.keralapareekshabhavan.in.


A committee had been formed with by A P Abdullakutty MLA as Chairman and DDE, Kannur as general convener and DEOs Kannur, Thalassery, DPO Kannur as convenors for the smooth functioning of the adalat.
