UDF sub-committee to visit Nelliyampathi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A UDF sub-committee will visit Nelliyampathi to study the taking over of government estates as the lease period had ended. Government Chief Whip P.C. George will also join the team.


The UDF meeting convened on Tuesday had concluded that a decision should only be taken after the visit. The meeting also barred P.C. George and forest minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar from making any public statements on the issue. They had quarrelled with each other over the issue of taking back government estates in Nelliyampathi.
