Double murder in Kuni: IUML leader arrested
MALAPPURAM: An IUML leader was arrested on Wednesday in a case related with the murder of Kolakkadan Abu Bakker and Kolakkadan Azad by a gang at Kuni in Malappuram district.
The arrested person is Ahmed Kutty, the Eranad Mandalam Secretary of IUML. Ahmed Kutty, who is also the first accused in the case, was arrested by the Special Investigation Team on charges of conspiracy. He was presented before a court which remanded him for 14 days.
Both Kolakkadan Abu Bakker and Kolakkadan Azad were accused in Athiq Rehman murder.
