Kannur: Central forces not to be withdrawn now
KANNUR: Even as Kannur slowly acquires peace, the authorities are reluctant to withdraw the central forces from the district hit by violence. The forces will remain there a few more days. About 29 people have been arrested so far. Altogether, the police have registered 162 cases in connection with the violent uprising took out to protest the arrest of P. Jayarajan.
