Lorry cleaner meets tragic death

MALAPPURAM: The cleaner of the lorry which plunged into a depth of 50 ft from the railway overbridge met a tragic death.
Rajesh (35), native of Bilkkunnu, Kasargode, was crushed to death as he was trapped under the lorry.
Fire force and highway police who arrived from Tirur had to cut open the vehicle to retrieve the corpse.
The mishap occurred around 4.15am on Saturday.
The lorry was carrying tyre tubes from Ernakulam to Kannur.
The driver of the vehicle, Kishore, is under treatment in a private hospital in Edapal.
