No bail for P Jayarajan and M V Rajesh
KOCHI: The Kerala High Court denied bail to P Jayarajan, CPM Kannur district secretary and the 38th accused, arrested in the Abdul Shukkoor murder case. The court also dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of MLA T V Rajesh, the 39th accused in the case.
Jayarajan, a former MLA had been charged under IPC section 118 (concealing design to commit offence punishable with death or imprisonment for life), in connection with the murder of IUML youth activist Abdul Shukkoor at Keezhara in February this year.
