No bail for P Jayarajan

KANNUR: The first class magistrate court in Kannur has rejected the application for P Jayarajan’s bail.


P Jayarajan, the 38th accused in Shukkoor murder case, is under remand now. In addition to it, 157 cases has been registered against him regarding the hartal conducted in protest of his arrest.


 Granting bail to Jayarajan would result in more violence in the district, said the prosecution.


Jayarajan’s advocate spoke of the decision to approach the high court for bail.
