Two more Maveli stores opened

Sunday, Aug 12, 2012: The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco), opened two new Maveli stores in Puthuppadi and Chakkittappara panchayats to supply essential commodities to consumers at a fair price.  Food and Civil Supplies Minister Anoop Jacob inaugurated the Supplyco ventures, opened with the support of the grama panchayat authorities.

Supplyco officials said the total number of Maveli stores in Kozhikode had reached 131 with the opening of the latest ones. “Proposals have been submitted to the government to sanction 20 more Maveli stores for the district with the support of the local self-government institutions,” they said.
