Air Kerala: Minimum share fixed Rs 10,000


THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that the minimum share in Air Kerala project has been reduced from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 10,000.

The move is to attract and ensure the participation of the middle class non-resident Keralites.

An expenditure of Rs 200 crore is estimated for the first phase of the project and the minister said that the government hopes to find shareholders.

He added that aircrafts will be taken on rent till the purchase of new ones and decision has been taken to ask for the centre’s lenient consideration regarding the conditions.
