Ammonium nitrate seized, three held
THRISSUR: Police arrested three persons and seized about 550 kg of ammonium nitrate, used as an oxidising agent in explosives. According to police, they intercepted the car, which was on its way to Malappuram from Palakkad and found 11 sacks each containing 50 kg of the explosives. The arrested were hailing from Malappuram, the sources added.
