BJP observes hartal against projects in Emerging Kerala
PATHANAMTHITTA: A dawn-to-dusk hartal is being observed by the BJP in this district today, demanding withdrawal of the proposed Aranmula airport project and Sabarimala Master Plan Project from the Emerging Kerala Investors Meet. The hartal was also supported by the Thiruvaranmula Paithruka Grama Karma Samithi and the Palliyoda-Pallivilakku Samrakshana Samithi.
The agitators alleged that the Government was adopting an indifferent attitude to their plea to exclude the projects from the meet as the project would affect the environment.
