Flights to Gulf cancelled

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The union aviation ministry has cancelled five flights to the Gulf from Kerala. The reason cited for the cancellation was to operate haj service from Uttar Pradesh. Haj services will be operated from Lucknow and Gaya.

Flights from September 17-October 12 have been cancelled. With the cancellation, Keralites, who have booked their tickets to the Gulf, will suffer a lot.

Meantime, Air India authorities have assured to make an alternative facility so that the passengers will not have to bear any hardships.
