THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Left Democratic Front (LDF) convener Vaikom Viswan said on Thursday that LDF will observe a hartal on Saturday in the state as a protest against the hike in Diesel prices and restriction implemented on the supply of subsidized cooking gas to six cylinders per household in a year.The BJP has also declared a hartal on Saturday. Private bus operators in Kerala also called hartal on the same day. Bus owners warned that they would go for an indefinite strike if the bus fare is not increased.
