Pravasi Malayalee Welfare Association to meet

KOTTAYAM: State level conference of Pravasi Malayalee Welfare Association India will be held here on September 15 and 16 with various programmes. Its President Issac Plappallil spokesman P A Alexander and other leaders said family meet, Sneha Pravasi award distribution and Pravasi Pension distribution would be held as part of the programme. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the conference. State and central ministers, MPs, opposition leaders, social and cultural leaders will participate in the conference. They emphasized the need for introducing Pravasi Protection Act for the protection of Pravasi's property.
