Woman found dead in pond

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 78-year-old- woman undergoing treatment for asthma was found dead in a pond near her house.

She has been identified as Lalithamma of Perakulam staying behind Peroorkada Thankamma Stadium. Her husband died 30 years before and leaves behind four children.

The woman was a regular visitor to the temple. She stopped going to the temple when her illness got worse.  She went to the temple this morning and didn’t return after a long time. So, when her relatives went in search of her found the body in the pond.
