KOOTHATTUKULAM: A girl and his brother were found lying dead on bed inside their house. The dead are Veliyannoor Panhcyat Thekkummala Karamala native Prakash’s children Aparna (18) and her younger brother Ananthu (16). They were found to have consumed poison and a suicide note was also recovered from the spot.
Aparna was a BCom Student of Al-Azar private college and Ananthu was a Plus 2 student of Koothattukulam. After examining the suicide note, the police said family issues were the reasons for the suicide. Being brilliant in studies, they were dear to all persons in the area.
Their farther Prakahsan is running a furniture shop and mother is doing household menial jobs. The police team led by CI Prakashan reached the spot and examined the house. Police later shifted the bodies to hospital. The bodies were cremated after the post-mortem. Shantha is their mother.
