THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DGP Loknath Behera has said that mistakes committed by the police, if any, in the investigation of Wadakkancherry gang-rape case will be looked into. The allegations made by the woman are of serious nature.
“A detailed inquiry will be conducted into the woman’s allegation and flaw from the part of the police. In the inquiry, technical and scientific angles will be considered. We have come to know that the police officers who dealt the case had followed certain illegal procedures. Action against those police officers will be taken only after a detailed inquiry into the allegation,” Behera clarified.
