Student fatally knocked down by car near Vadakara

 Saturday, February 18, 2012: An 11-year-old school student was killed after he was fatally knocked down by a speeding SUV near Vadakara here on Saturday morning.
The deceased identified as Muhammad Rafi, hailing from Azhiyoor, was returning home when a speeding Tata Sumo car knocked him down. Rafi, who suffered serious injuries was immediately rushed to a Mahi Government hospital but later succumbed to injuries.
The body was given away to the relatives after the autopsy and inquest preparation.
