Antony calls on VS

KOZHIKODE: Defence Minister A K Antony called on veteran CPM leader V S Achuthanandan here Sunday.

Antony met VS at the latter's room in the Government Guest House, where both the leaders are staying.

Emerging from the 10-minute long interaction, Antony described it as 'a friendly meeting' with the opposition leader in Kerala Assembly.

Antony, a former chief minister, arrived here this morning to attend various programmes, while Achuthanandan is camping in the town since yesterday.
