Suryanelli victim can approach HC

NEW DELHI: Suryanelli victim has obtained legal advice that she can approach the Kerala High Court for a reinvestigation against Rajya Sabha deputy chairman P J Kurien in the case.  

Senior advocate Chander Uday Singh of the apex court informed the girl that she needn’t directly approach the Supreme Court.

The victim had sent a letter to the counsel seeking chances for a reinvestigation. In the letter to the chief minister, she had stated that she is still in her stand against Kurien.
