THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All arrangements have been made in the State for balitharppanam (offerings made to forefathers) on Friday, being karkkidaka vavu. The bali will be performed from early morning 3 to 10 am at places such as Varkala Papanasam, Thiruvallam, Kollam Thirumullavaram, Aluva manalpuram, Thirunelli and Thirunavaya. On the occasion, KSRTC will run special services to these centres from early morning.
