Elephant runs amok, kills mahout in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An elephant ran amok killing its mahout at Thrikannapuram in the district. He has been identified as Krishnan Kutty (60) of Kottayam.

The incident happened Tuesday afternoon.
