Kesari Chief Editor J Nanda Kumar, two others resign

KOZHIKODE: 'Kesari' Chief Editor J Nanda Kumar and two others have tendered their resignations over an article advocating unity between RSS and its arch rival CPI (M) that appeared in the RSS mouthpiece on September 30. Confirming the resignations, sources said the others who put in their papers were Sangh Parivar leader T G Mohan Das, who wrote the piece 'Keralam Kaathirikunna Sowhritham' (the bonhomie anticipated by Kerala) and R V Babu, General Manager of Ayodhya Printers that published the magazine. Sources said they had submitted the resignations on the behest of the top leadership of the Parivar, who were irked over the article calling for united action by the rivals on common issues. However, sources close to the Parivar, said they had been drafted for national level samithy. Both the CPI (M) and the BJP also came out against the article.
