‘It is not wrong to inform the party about vacancies in municipal council, appointments are not made on the basis of letter given by leadership’, says VK Prasanth MLA

 THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: VK Prashanth MLA has reacted to Mayor Arya Rajendran's letter controversy. He stated that there is nothing wrong in informing the party leadership about the vacancy in the municipal corporation.

The MLA said that the appointment in the municipal corporation is not based on the letter issued by the party leadership and the allegations related to this are baseless. Meanwhile, BJP Thiruvananthapuram district president VV Rajesh alleged that the mayor has violated her oath.
