Violent action Malayalam Movies Please stop glorifying criminals in films

Recently released Malayalam films Intense, Violent Action Films, “A majority of the films today glorify criminals and rowdies and depict them as Robin Hoods. This justifies criminal activities and people, especially the youth, are susceptible to such narratives,” Some studies have linked violence in films to more aggressive behaviour among viewers.

“There have been many cases when young people, after committing a serious crime, claim they were influenced by a film,” he said, narrating a recent case where a youth was arrested for stabbing a businessman to death with a knife, said, Police commissioner recently.
