Ganesh should openly agree to abide by party, says Pillai

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress (B) chairman R Balakrishna Pillai decided to give one more chance to his son Minister K B Ganesh Kumar to abide by the directives of the party.

Briefing reporters after the party’s high power meeting, Pillai said Ganesh should openly agree to abide by the party’s directives.

The meeting held here Saturday decided not to close the doors for a patch up with Ganesh. They also decided to wait till the next UDF meet to be convened on April 2. The party took this decision considering the existence of the UDF.

Pillai said, “Like other ministers, Ganesh should also agree to abide by the party’s directives. That doesn’t mean he should implement the unwarranted things. If the minister agrees to abide by the party, then the letter would be withdrawn. The issue between me and Ganesh has not thawed. Hope it will thaw soon.”

We don’t need the help of Chief Whip P C George to save KC (B).  There may be some truth in what he has said. The truth will be accepted and the others will be rejected. It is not necessary to discuss the minister’s personal matters here. Some leaders of the UDF have been insulting the party for the past 22 months, he blamed.
