Major fire in Kanjikode mattress factory

Palakkad, Saturday, February 25, 2012 : A mattress factory in the Kanjikkode area of the Palakkad city was gutted in a massive fire that broke out on Saturday morning.
Fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames and the fire-fighting operations are going on here. Although there was no report of any causality, there was panic in the area.
