Opposition walks out of Assembly

Monday, June 18, 2012: CPI-M led LDF opposition members staged a walkout from the Kerala Assembly on Monday after their adjournment motion on police atrocities in the SFI students march was disallowed by Speaker G Karthikeyan.
The opposition came to the Assembly with grenades, hurled by the police against the SFI students protest march.
CPM leader E P Jayarajan alleged that many SFI students were injured in the march by the police action.

Tuesday, March 20,2012 : Opposition LDF staged a walkout in the Kerala Assembly on Tuesday after their adjournment motion on murder case of SFI Idukki district vice president. Aneesh Rajan was disallowed by Speaker G Karthikeyan..
The notice for adjournment motion was moved by K K Jayachandran of the CPM.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy informed the assembly that the second accused has been arrested and the main accused has not been arrested as he is undergoing treatment in Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
