Household wastes catch fire; Woman dies
ALUVA: A 56 year old woman on Thursday evening died in fire while she was burning the household wastes in the backyard of her house at Aluva in Ernakulam district. The victim was identified as Annie, wife of Joy.
The wastes exploded and Annie’s dress caught fire. Though her husband and neighbours doused and took her to Ernakulam Medical Centre hospital, she died on Friday morning.
It is suspected that a perfume bottle present in the wastes exploded. Annie and Joy have two children—Deepu and Dinu.
