TECIL denies allegation

KOTTAYAM: The allegation of opposition leader V S Achuthanandan that the state had waived power dues to Kottayam based TECIL (Travancore Electro Chemicals Limited) at Chingavanam in Kottayam is baseless, informed its general manager G M Vijayan.
TECIL had power dues and liabilities worth Rs 50 crores.

The KSEB had relaxed the dues to Rs 14.75 in one-time-settlement. The chief minister or the home minister had not done anything beyond that. He said that he is ready to face any kind of investigation in connection with it.
