ATTAMBI: Police have filed a case against Pattambi UDF candidate C P Muhammed on the basis of the complaint that he tried to influence voters by bribing them. Earlier, police had approached the court seeking its permission to file a case against him.
CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan earlier leaked the video of Muhammed allegedly giving money to a housewife. But, Muhammed refuting the allegation said later that he was just consoling the woman who is a cancer patient.
But the police went ahead with filing the case following the complaint lodged by Pattambi constituency LDF convenor.
