Tuesday, 27 December 2011: Six persons were injured when speeding private bus collided with jeep near Machamthodu in Palakkad on Tuesday morning.According to an eyewitness account, the mishap occurred around 8.30 a.m. when a Palakkad-Kozhikode private bus collided with a jeep from Malappuram with a cracking noise.
The local people, Fire and Rescue Force personnel and the police carried out the rescue operation.
